About

Hello all!

This blog is dedicated to all book nerds and fanatics such as myself to update and chat about novels for the teen fiction variety. I am a fellow writer and am awaiting to publish my own work starting November 2013, and being inspired by so many other books is quite the experience. Novels are the first forms of imagination on paper, and it should be treated with respect and admiration. To make such art, the author puts in themselves for months at a time, just so we can enjoy a beautiful novel to read in only a matter of days. I salute all authors out there, and I encourage others to write their own work too.

I also post artwork on here that enhances the creative imagination when it comes to fans. I mainly put up Maximum Ride, The Hunger Games, and some Harry Potter as well. If you have more suggestions then let me know; or if you have art of your own you’d like me to show, then message me. I get all of my art from deviantART, unless I state otherwise.

“Creativity is easy to fathom in the mind, but when it’s put into words…that’s when it becomes a story.” -S. K. Robitaille

  1. Hi!!! I just HAVE to say that I ❀ your blog! My friend and I read it all the time.(Not to sound like a stalker…)
Um, one more thing, forgive me for being super nerdy, but your posts about being an author really inspire me. I've wanted to be an author for a long time now, but I haven't had the courage. I've written 4 books, and it feels like 100 rough drafts, but I have to say none of them are very good.
    Wow this is long…..

    • Thanks for loving my blog so much! I feel bad that I haven’t gotten a chance to update it recently :/ curse work and school! But I’ll get back to it, don’t worry πŸ™‚
That’s SO great that I inspire you to be an author! I was actually about to make a post about why being one is so awesome, and how to get started. So check it out when that comes out πŸ™‚
But don’t consider your novels bad. It’s REALLY difficult to get started, since you’re not sure how people talk just yet or how to pace things. It really just takes lots and lots of practice! But always have courage with your writing πŸ™‚ just like any other career, it takes time to master and in writing it’s actually great to make mistakes!
I’m going to give tips and all that in a post (this comment is getting too long, huh)? But keep on writing! Trust me, there’ll be a story that screams YES at you, and that’s when you’ll find all this inspiration. Keep on going at it! Never ever give up on your passions πŸ™‚

  2. Hi there, I’m Yori Narpati. I just noticed that you posted a lot of my old Hunger Games fan art on you blog on this page https://teenfictionbooks.wordpress.com/category/the-hunger-games/fan-art-hunger-games/ I am extremely honored that you would do so, but I am currently trying to remove all my older artwork from the internet for personal reasons. I now no longer give permission to other people to repost my art on any site. I’d really appreciate it if you could help me out by removing all the drawings that was done by me, there are four I think, a sketch of Peeta and Katniss, a colored drawing from Catching Fire, another colored drawing of Peeta and Katniss’ family from Mockingjay, and a painting of Peeta. Thank you very much and I apologize for troubling you. I hope you can respond soon.

    • As an artist myself, I can respect that kind of decision. I’m going to be very busy this weekend and the following week, but I’ll do my best to take down your artwork as soon as I possibly can.
I will be sad doing it, since I absolutely LOVE your art, but I respect your decision. I’ll be doing what you ask ASAP.
